In my humble opinion, this jacket is the BEST mid-layering piece we carry. Extremely light-weight and packable, super warm, breathable, wind and moisture resistant, what more could you ask for in a mid-layer?! The Atom jacket also looks great, so it is a great lifestyle piece on its own. There are many reasons as to why almost everyone in the company owns this piece!

Warm!

Pros: Very warm

The atom is a awesome jacket inside and out. Very warm and breathable. The best part is that it is synthetic down which is very warm but doesn't look like most puffy down jackets. Works well as a mid layer and by itself.

Great All Around Everyday

Pros: Comfort and versatility
Cons: Awkward Collar

This jacket takes me from the slopes to my regular work day. It is so comfortable, I often forget to take it off. I wear it as a mid layer and on warmer dryer days, as a cozy, movable outer layer. I would add that the collar is a bit small, and can be awkward to keep down or up depending on preference. Its water repellent and layers under and over EVERYTHING! Easy, machine washable.

Take this jacket with me always. Great for travel, throw on when the weather turns colder or light snow or rain and a great piece for under your shell. Highly recommend this piece

This is a great jacket for around town or under a hard shell when skiing. Looks great and is very warm, even though it is very light. Also very durable. Arc'teryx is not inexpensive, but it is worth every penny!
