Taken this to and from Colorado multiple times and I've had no problems with TSA or damage to my skis. Sturdy as anything. I would recommend buying a TSA lock with this.

Yes
I used the Lindsay Vonn tube-hardside board bag to go to Colorado. It fit two boards and most of our stuff. It held up beautifully to all of the travel and was easy to roll and stow. Simplified everything. Love that you could lock it up and strap it down.

I bought this tube for an upcoming ski trip to Chile and am anxious to see my skies arrive in pristine condition. I had been a little concerned because other sites indicated they had some trouble threading the pin through the tube sections. I don't know what they are talking about, of course you have to make sure the holes are lined up but it isn't a big deal. Looks like the tube will meet my needs perfectly. I use a fairly short ski and am glad to get a case that can be precisely adjusted to their length.
