The Legend of the Skunk Ape

Pros: W-I-D-E waist models within the series for the "Bigfoots" out there!
Cons: Not as powerful in carves and turns as the C3 Construct Lib Techs. A slight bit of chatter on ice.

The LibTech Skunk Ape C2 snowboard is one of the better series on the market made for riders looking for a wider waist deck. It is a slightly directional board with a setback stance centered in the C2 Rocker/Camber profile. The Magne-Traction edges provide an unreal hold and bite into variable conditions of groomers, hardpack, ice and powder alike. A medium-stiff flex gives a great pop in and out of turns as well as terrain transitions. The base is fast and keeps stable at speed when kept properly waxed. Overall the Skunk Ape is an amazing choice for an east coast and beyond snowboard deck, this was on of the funnest decks I've ridden in the last few seasons!
