The new Blizzard Black Pearl 88 is a fantastic option for the strong intermediate to aggressive skiing women who will be making smooth turns on the groomers, skiing some powder, and zipping through the bumps. Blizzard's Women's Carbon Flipcore Construction keeps the Black Pearl 88 very energetic and stable anywhere you can go on the mountain. A Poplar-Beech Wood Core will keep you stable when you are hitting top speed, or you run into some challenging snow conditions. Been skiing on Black Pearls for the last 6 years, and Blizzard just keeps making them better. Used this all last season and took it all over different mountains with various terrain. It handled everything! It's designed for a strong intermediate to expert skier so keep that in mind otherwise you may find it too stiff of a ski.

Last March I got a chance to test ski and out of all the skis I tested these were my favorites. Short radius turns can be done effortlessly on these skis compared to older years . That was the biggest difference I noticed and yet they also performed well on hard pack steeps and did bumps in softer snow conditions as well. I don't think you'll find a better all mountain ladies ski for East skiing.
