A Poplar Core with Fiberglass Reinforcements adds some stability when you want to pick up some speed, while still offering forgiveness as you gain confidence and control. A 92mm waist is surprisingly nimble when you are skidding and sliding some turns, getting ready to carve, with enough support for you to make your first powder turns.
