Pros:
adjustable length pole, powder basket, lockjaw clamp seems sturdy

Yes
A real nice adjustable length pole for alpine touring
...extend the length for ascending, shorten for descents, as well as for bump skiing. Gave this a 4 vs 5 because my eval is shop based vs skiing based, have not actually skied using this pole.
