My significant other wanted to snowboard so I started her off with these wrist guard and some butt body armor. With these guards she still has unbroken wrists and enjoys her time on the slopes.
She has mentioned that she feels more confident with the added safety protection gears.
My advice is to any beginner please grab your self some wrist guards. A broken wrist my seem cool at first but it will be unpleasant to say the least in months of recovery.
better safe than sorry

This is perfect for either beginners or people like me who, broke their wrist before the season, and didn't want to do any more damage on the ski slopes.

A must need!! For all snowboarders. Prevents you from breaking your wrists when you fall backwards.
