Yes
When you get the feel of riding strap bindings with a much faster and easier way to get in and out of your binding. Step on is the way to go.

Burton step-on is awesome. so responsive and easy. toe side turns feel instantaneous. but the boots could be more comfortable. i was definitely getting a pressure point with the second heel boa. I'm sure these will be perfected within the next few years

Yes
The concept of the Burton Step On system is awesome. There is immediate response between your boot and binding. One of the downsides to this system, in my opinion, is the boot is definitely not the most comfortable boot on the market.

Yes
Obviously most are skeptical of the whole step-on system but these boots are just as comfortable as the regular Burton Photon. Super responsive and comfortable with extreme heel hold. My boot of choice for step-on.

My big problem when it comes to boots is my heel always lifts, I was amazed to find out that with the Burton photons i was not lifting at all. These are by far the best step-on boots you can buy. They do fit just like the regular photons, so make sure to stop by one of our locations to try on the burton photons!

Trying these boots I was a little skeptical that I would like them and I was so wrong. The lower boa (ankle strap) controls how responsive the boot is essentially. Leave it loose to get a surfy feeling boot or click it down and get a responsive boot perfect for high speeds and deep carves. Awesome boot and super fun! Everyone should try the Burton Step On system, so get them when their hot!
