Been waiting for these to come out for the past 2 years...I ride with a bunch of skiers and they are generally half way down the mountain by the time I bind in. So I am looking forward to telling them to "hurry up". Look forward to a great winter season in Squaw Valley and Banff - can't wait!

Pros:
As stated above and more believe to be more durable than Fusions
Cons:
Kids will still be able to "make fun" of me, but that's OK, I am still riding

Riding my last pair of 5 pair of old Burton Fusion Step-ins and expected to go to Flow M9s waiting in their box. Saw these on line, read the reviews, and knew immediately that Jake and his R&D dept had taken the next excellent "step" in this direction. Not on snow yet, on and off the sofa and backyard inclines, comfort, fit, response all superb. No sitting or bending to get in. They came along just in time for this 71 year old "kid". Thanks Jake. As of 11/15/17 Blue is blowing, yes!

After having the ability to demo these for a week last season, I am sold. They ride just like a traditional setup. For sn old beat up rider like me, its awesome. Step on and go! Two boot models and one binding model for both men and eomem.

I was able to demo this binding last season and all I have to say about it is wow! At first I was a little apprehensive doing my turns but these bindings really do hold you down! No only that but it also made my board feel a little lighter without my regular bindings. Very easy to use, very fast getting in and out, a lot of fun.

This is a new binding system that Burton introduced this season. The step on system works pretty good, your feet feel nice and secure when you are in the binding. They are easy to use and sleek looking. The binding is extremely stiff and aggressive and works great for charging the groomers. This binding will also give the chance to bust out that old stylish leash of yours. This binding will work for aggressive riders. If you are a beginner this may not be the binding for you, because it is not very forgiving or easy to ride.

Cons:

I had the privilege to demo this binding at the end of last year, and i couldn't tell the difference from a average binding with straps. I would get down to the bottom of the mountain and go down to release the straps. Now for the ease of use, we would get to the top of the mountain and i would be waiting for all of my two planker friends to fidget with their poles.

The new Burton Step-On system is incredible. It feels as if they are just normal bindings. They are easy to get out of and even easier to get into. Super responsive and super fun. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
