Love the RTMs

Pros: Fun, carves like crazy, stable, easy to release or skid.
Cons: The tips are a little too wide and grippy for easily slipping through big bumps.

I loved the original Rtms that were flat(Volkl called them full rocketed but IRL they were flat cambered.)
They were easy to roll over onto high edge angles and carve. At lower angles they would skid easily. There wasn't really any rebound or "pop" to them. The RT81 has all the good characteristics, but adds the rebound back by having a little camber.
Really fun carver with a little extra width to smooth out loose snow. The 84 version of this ski has a little higher end but isn't quite as fun at PAs vertically challenged ski areas.

Amazing grip

Pros: Excellent edge hold
Cons: Not one!

This ski has amazing edge control. Put it on edge, and let it rip! This ski wants to carve and is solid at high speeds. Will be your go to ski once you get on this ski.

If you are looking for a ski that rails on hard pack but also has some versatility in mixed conditions, this is a ski you must check out. This ski is best for an advancing intermediate through expert skier. Not as beefy as the RTM 84 which means that it is a lot of fun at moderate speeds as well. Great ski for anywhere and almost all conditions in the East. Would also be awesome for out West if you are planning on staying largely on the soft groomers.
