Vantage X 80 CTI

The Atomic Vantage X 80 CTI is part of our new lightweight system ski series with the perfect blend of piste power and all-mountain agility. With its 80mm footprint it’s a great mid-waist model, built for all-mountain skiers who love to carve nice turns on piste – and then venture off the side from time to time. It features Vantage’s lighter, stronger construction with Carbon Tank Mesh, a layer of rigid woven mesh that adds strength across the ski while reducing weight. Plus a Power Woodcore, Titanium Backbone 2.0 and extra-full Firewall for solid edge grip. Then we’ve given it a sportier shape and thinner waist ideal for harder snow. We’ve also added our new Exo Profile – a radical 3D profile that cuts swing weight and adds even more rigidity for riding on piste. The successor to our best-selling Nomad Blackeye Ti, but 20% lighter.

Some skis are excellent during the early morning shred session, but wear through a skier's stamina come the afternoon. Atomic's Vantage X 80 CTI guarantees lively frontside performance from bell to bell. It's light weight and inconceivable ease of use permit intermediate and above skiers to ski any piste condition all the live long day.

Atomic has earned the designation as a leader in All-Mountain skis with front-side emphasis in my mind. The Vantage X series and particularly this 80 CTI has extraordinary snap and quickness in the tip for quick turns and the transition to the incredible edge holding is seamless.

When we travel this is my ski of choice. Unless I am 100% sure of the conditions at our destination, these are my skis of choice. Last winter, in one week at Greek Peak and Hunter Mountain we had true knee deep powder (believe it or not) for two days and windblown boiler plate at Hunter Mountain. The Vantage X 80 Cti handled both with aplomb. These are winners particularly when skied in the center.

This ski gives you the ability to ski the whole mountain. It gives good hold on the groomers and packed crud while providing nice float with it's wider shape. good all around performance.

I have had the pleasure of skiing this all mountain stud. Atomic always impresses me, this all mountain system ski is a very versatile ride. It performs well in varied conditions. I really enjoy the way the ski handles in our east coast groomer conditions but at the same time if the powder shows up on the mountain these skis are ready for it all. Take them out and enjoy beautiful turns.
