The Volkl Mantra originated many seasons ago, and the various iterations of the ski are equally numerous.  However, the most recent model is widely regarded as the best Mantra to date.  The construction is relatively simple.  A Multi Layer Wood core serves as the ski's foundation; the Full Sidewall construction and Full Titanal insert source the ski's high performance; and the Moderate Taper in unison with the Full Rocker combine to ensure playfulness.  Not for the faint of heart, the Mantra is advanced to expert skiers' perfect all mountain ski.

Great all mountain ski

Perfect for the advanced to expert level skier looking for a quiver-killer of a ski. Rips on the hard pack, handles bumps nicely, and floats well enough in the powder.

The Volkl Mantra is great on trail ski with great edge hold but and has more than enough underfoot so you can slide off into the trees this ski really ca do it all!

The Mantra is a killer ski that powers through multiple conditions. Likes to be skied mach schnell hair on fire, so prepare for blast off

The Volkl Mantra has been and will likely continue to be one of my personal favorites, It's back this year with all the beastly goodness we've come to expect. It's race inspired, full wood core, metal laminate construction works like a supercharged V8 on steep groomers, while it's fully rockered base profile give you easier turn initiation, and extra float on soft, or choppy snow. Still a great choice for a strong skier who wants a strong ski, with more versatility than a race stick.
