Ski boots are designed and manufactured with a litany of elaborate features advertised to increase their performance. While these features are of value, fit is the most important aspect of any ski boot. The Salomon X Pro 80 may not be equipped with some of the features included on more expensive models, however its fit is identical to every other model in Salomon's X Pro line of ski boots. The My Customfit 3D Sport liner will mold should adjustments be necessary to improve fit.

Boot Width Medium

For the skier with a C, D or E width shoe as most common foot width.

Boot Instep Height Medium

Average instep height but due to the sensitive nature of this area of the foot as many blood vessels flow through here it's still important to make sure the blood is not restricted.

Boot Calf Volume Medium

Most common lower leg shaft allowing the boot to wrap around the lower leg for performance as well as comfort.

Boot Flex Soft

A soft flex designed to be more forgiving by allowing more flex of the lower leg at the ankle to help maintain balance while skiing.

Pros: Soft, Cheap, Comfortable
Cons: Not heat moldable shell or linear.

If you are looking for a boot that is on the cheaper side of things along with just starting to dive into the ski world and being a smaller build the XPRO 80 is the boot for you. No bells or whistles just a comfortable boot that will get you on the hill with a soft forgiving flex.
