Marmot Women's Montreal Coat

If you live in a big city or have ever visited one during the colder months, you know how chilly it can be. When the wind starts blowing around the tall buildings, you can encounter some really cold pockets. Finding the right coat, like the women’s Marmot Montreal coat, is just the thing to protect you from the elements and keep you toasty while you get where you need to go.

The Montreal’s down insulation and water-resistant exterior will help keep you dry and warm. The jacket has 700 fill-power down insulation. The space between the feathers help trap your body heat and keep it close to your body. The tough exterior fabric will protect you, even when the wind starts blowing and precipitation starts to come down.

With excellent functionality, you also won’t give up any style. The jacket has fleece-lined pockets, removable synthetic fur ruff around the hood and a selection of different colors.

I am a size 16 (5'10" tall) and purchased the XXL in Dream State after reading many reviews of this coat. It fits, but barely--it's particularly tight in the chest/shoulders. The sleeves are also pretty short.

I go out to smoke 20 times a day (I know, it's a sickness). This is the warmest coat I've ever had, very easy to use, unlike my Columbia, and surprisingly attractive. Love that it doesn't have that ridiculously prominent logo like Northface stuff. I hate feeling like a walking ad. I've even found myself going for more walks that usual because it's so cozy! This is the coat to end all coats! I BRAG about this coat!

So warm!!!!!

Love love love! I am always cold, this was the perfect parka for me. Pockets are in perfect place, detachable hood is a bonus!!! One concern about fit, feels slightly snug Through the middle.

I'd give this a 5++ It's light weight, lengthen and warmth is better than any other Jacket I've owned. I am outside a lot as a school teacher and this is a must!

This jacket is insanely warm! If you are a cold person I would highly highly recommend this parka! It is water resistant so you can wear it out in the snow or light rain. It is a nice length so it can also keep your legs warm.

I love this coat. I originally purchased it to walk my dog, but i find myself wearing it almost everyday in this beautiful winter weather. It is the warmest coat i own. Very lightweight and I love that i can get my hands in the pockets with my gloves. It looks great if you are dressed up or in jeans. Im always getting compliments and asking me where they can purchase this coat. Of course i say Buckmans!!!

Favorite winter jacket

Pros: warm, lightweight, great pockets, soft to the touch
Cons: sleeves are a little shorter than I'd like, even though I sized up

I've had this for just 2 weeks now, but it's my favorite winter jacket I've ever had. I now own 3 Marmot jackets, and again, this is my favorite. The cut and length of the jacket is comfortable and flattering. I love how lightweight it is. The 2 outside (zippered) pockets are so soft to the touch and are plenty deep. I can stick my hand in all the way past my wrists, even if I have gloves on. There is one inside zipper pocket and one pouch pocket and both of those are big enough to fit a smart phone or wallet, keys, etc. My only complaint is about the sleeves. I wish they were an inch longer. I even sized up from an xs to a s to get longer sleeves, and it's not quite what I wanted. There is a soft fleece cuff inside the sleeves that is supposed to help block out the wind, but it's too baggy on my wrist to be effective. A longer, stretchier cuff would solve both problems. But the sleeves were not a dealbreaker for me because the jacket really is perfect in every other respect.
