The QST 99, the best-selling all-mountain skis from Salomon for the past three years running, comes with a new construction, new technologies and new shape this season. A full length poplar wood core teams up with the Ti Power Platform in the full sandwich construction. A new tip to tail blend of carbon fiber and basalt for increased power and edge grip. A pure flax laminate was placed directly underfoot and added Cork Damplifier technology in the tip and tail creating an unmatched stable snow feel. Wrapped all up into a new shape that offers smoother turn initiation, better floatation and more confidence in steeper terrain. Perfect for someone looking for a nimble and easily maneuverable ski that's built for speed.

This ski has been my favorite going on 3 years now, and they continue to make it better. This is the ideal 1 ski quiver if you ski East and West coast and like to play off trail.

If you want 1 ski & you have a trip out west this is your ski!!! With a tip width of 136mm & with the under boot width at 99 this ski rips powder & groomers at high speed with stability. The ski is softer than average so it turns easily

I rode these skis all over Breckenridge and Vail and they were a lot of fun. They held an edge nicely on the front side and were a blast in the deeper stuff in the bowls. Would want a narrower version for east coast.

the qst line is such a fun playful all mountain ski that loves to hop around. But still holds its edge really well and is very stable. my personal favorite is the 99, I think it is just the right stiffness for myself but the entire line is amazing!
