The Smash 7 from Rossignol is an excellent ski for the adventurous beginner to solid intermediate skier who will start to venture into more off piste terrain. The Smash 7 is made with the Rossitop Cap Construction that keeps the ski lightweight and forgiving enough for the beginner skier to have control, but solid enough for the intermediate to have responsiveness when they ramp up the speed or find themselves in challenging conditions. Powder Turn Rocker has rocker in the tip, camber underfoot and rocker in the tail that helps ease the ski into and out of turns while improving flotation when you start to get into the trees or soft snow. A Poplar/Fiberglass Core keeps the weight of the Smash 7 low and easy to ski. A 92mm waist will give you ample support as you ski down a groomer that has some crud, moguls or your first taste of fresh powder.

Ordered right before Christmas and had great service. arrived in time to Ski New Years weekend. My Son loved the ski and felt very confident on them. They are his first twin tip ski. I was unsure if he could still carve a turn and they were better than expected. Can't wait to go to BC.

This ski is the go to model for those youth transitioning from junior to adult model skis. More for the kid who rides the whole mountain, not as much a carver as it is versatile.
