This jacket is good for just about anything. Super warm, looks really nice, great against high winds and heavy snowfall as well.

Yeah, it is that good

Pros: Lightweight, durable, can be worn year round.

This jacket is borderline bombproof. Super Durable, extremely lightweight, Phenomenal Weather Protection. If you are into any sort of winter sport, this is a must have. If you want to guarantee that you will always be protected from the element, this is a must have. I wear this jacket year round round: as a raincoat in the warmer months, and as an outer shell during the winter months. Truly a must have. Pro Tip:make sure to wash with Techwash and reapply DWR to this jacket at beginning or end of every season. This will ensure maximum performance from this jacket day in and day out.

I picked up this jacket while I was in Norway the day before I hiked a glacier. The day of the climb it was pouring down raining which soon turned to sleet and snow. Through the intense climb, snow, and rain the jacket kept me very warm and dry as a bone

best all around

Pros: athletic fit, light weight
Cons: hot, Carbon Copy color looks "economy" and should be darker

The service at Buckman's is superb and personable, even in off-season.

The jacket is a well-made compromise between light weight and all-around featured jacket. Ideally, pit-zips would be nice and maybe a velcro tab at the neck for keeping it on the hanger, or for a quick closure without a total zip-up. Sleeves are a tad long and adds excess material on the forearms. The Carbon Copy color is not as pictured__ it is a medium graphite color, rather than the warm deep color as indicated. I would have preferred a very dark grey.
