The new Giro Essence MIPS is the essence of helmet and visor integration. The Integrated Visor has Push Face Foam on the bridge of the nose and cheekbones that will feel very comfortable on your face and seal out the wind, cold and snow. The Visor provides you with a wide field of view and fantastic clarity, with the ability to be flipped up when you want to go in for a snack. The Essence also is produced with MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) that uses a low-friction liner that can rotate upon impact to absorb some of the impact, rather than transfer it onto your brain. Giro's In Form Fit System has a dial located on the back of the helmet that can be adjusted for a comfortable and safe fitting helmet. Thermostat Control allows you to open and close the vents on the top of the helmet to allow warm air to escape and let cool air in, to prevent you from overheating on the slopes. The Women's Specific Design gives the Essence MIPS a lady like touch that looks great on the slopes and can match any type of ski outfit.
