Nice shell...slimmer fit

I bought this TNF Lostrail GTX shell fall ‘18 at buckmam’s Doylestown and have only skied once in it but was really happy with it. Cardinal red/brown looks great. Exactly the pocket set-up, only wish it had a D-ring for gloves. I have shorter, stockier build and am often on the cutline between a large and XL...but went with the L on this lostrail. The sleeves are only a hair long while the shoulders and chest fit a little snug over a thin base layer + a thin midlayer. But, the body does run long. An XL would’ve been roomier over heavier/more layers...the body wouldve be way to long. For really cold skiing, I’ll wear my older insulated parka. For reference, I also have a TNF Carto shell that I have for just wearing around town...and in the XL it fits pretty loose over a tee shirt and perfectly over a sweater. The lostrail cut is much longer and slimmer.

Great, comfortable jacket. Plenty of pockets which is always nice. It can be hooked to you pants and has a powder skirt. Completely waterproof because of Gore-Tex!
