The Patagonia Capilene Midweight Crew for men is an absolute necessity for all of your outdoor winter activities. Available in eight fun colors, no other midweight base layer provides this much protection and looks this amazing. The Capilene Midweight fabric hits the sweet spot of weight, breathability and wicking that, worn alone or with additional layers, is the essence of versatility. It keeps you dry and comfortable when worn during high-exertion activities in cool-to-moderate temperatures and insulates beneath a shell in cold weather. Constructed with a Polartec® Power Grid™ fabric, it has a smooth face for easy layering and a brushed-back grid that aids in wicking as well as warmth. So, throw on this baselayer before you hit the slopes and stay warm and toasty all day long.

Great base layer

This is great layer piece on a cool or cold day. It fits close to the body to trap in the heat, but is not too tight like some of the compression fitting pieces.

This is my go to for all outdoor activities, camping, hiking, skiing, or just to stay warm. The waffle pattern breathes great and keeps you super warm.

This has become my go to base layer. Very warm and comfortable and wicks away moisture well. I have had the same pair for a couple seasons and still is in great condition.

I use the Patagonia base layer more than any other piece that I own. Durable, great at removing sweat from the skin, and lasts forever. It washes great, and never builds any funky odors

Finally broke down and purchased my second set of Patagonia capilene baselayer not bad the first set last 15 years. Use x-country sking, hiking, winter football games. Very warm no need to put on layer after layer.
