I love this vest!!! It is great for fall with a hoodie under it. You can wear with a flannel too, or just use it to layer. It is amazing!

This vest is really versatile as you can wear it over a flannel as well as under your jacket for an extra layer of warmth on the mountain. It's very very warm so it's perfect for that extra layer.

Pros: Insulates like down without the price
Cons: None that I have experienced.

Thermoball works, at a very reasonable price. Insulates like down but without down's inability to function when wet. In tandem with the Thermoball jacket under the Arcteryx Rush, this is the ticket for sub-zero and high winds.

Need a lightweight piece to wear underneath your shell. This is the piece. Great piece to keep your core warm with out too much bulk since it has no sleeves. The small baffles keep the insulation where it is supposed to be.

This is a great versatile vest... I use it regularly, sometimes over a hoody in cooler Fall temps or as a mid-layer under my jacket in colder skiing temps.

Light weight and toasty, great on it's own or under a shell. Put it on and forget about it! Baffled insulation keep your body core heat in while moisture can still escape.
