Great for holding your pants up if you are spending lots of time on your butt down the mountain
easy to attach to your pants and take off without damaging your pants!

my husband did not want to give up his "bib pants" because he liked having the straps. Finally got him a pair of pant and these suspenders. They fit great on his pants, they dont come off if he takes a fall.
Why hadn't I bought a pair before?

During the winter I wear some goretex pants to hike in. On my way down the snowy mountain paths I love to sit down and slide on my butt, but because of all this sitting down and standing up my pants are forever slipping down, in danger of showing my long-johns to the world. It took me years to finally order a pair of suspenders, and now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. My future of butt-sliding looks bright now that I have my new suspenders!

Well this is my second set, I bought to use on my work jeans, Excellent holding power, I have tested my other set on my ski pants they stayed put even when I took a fall and groomed the hill with my back and backside for a while. Would still recommend, you get what you pay for.

Yes
I have used the metal clasp type before, they were junk, I used these Ski-Ups on my Columbia ski pants, they hold great even if you take a spill, the best on the market i've found. I will be buying another set shortly to have for my work pants. I ski all terrains, I have recommended these to friends and I dont do that if it isn't a good product.

got tired of my pants falling down in the backcountry. so far these are a cheap fix that supposedly won't harm materials used in ski pants(i.e. gore tex)
