Buckmans gets a little greener
As construction of our new 620 kilowatt solar energy system nears completion at our corporate headquarters in Pottstown, PA, part of the network of panels has been activated, producing clean, sustainable energy for years to come.
The completed solar energy system will produce 700,000 kilowatt hours of electricity a year enabling Buckman’s to offset 850,000 pounds of carbon dioxide yearly which is equivalent to conserving over 40,000 gallons of gasoline annually. When completed, Buckman’s solar energy system will be one of the largest in Pennsylvania.
