BUCKMANS AQUIRES PINNACLE SPORTS IN READING PA
We are happy to announce that in the summer of 2009, Buckman's Ski and Snowboard Shops became the new owners of Pinnacle Sports located at 301 East Bellevue Ave in Reading PA. Our West Lawn location will be moved to this store, making our primary location in Berks county at 301 East Bellevue. Below are excerpts from a letter from Paul Prutzman, former owner of Pinnacle Sports in Reading, PA.

Margie, Jes and I want share some good news with you.
Pinnacle’s Main Store on Bellevue Avenue has been sold to Buckman’s who will
consolidate their business in Berks County into the Pinnacle location on
Bellevue Avenue and operate under the Buckman's brand and ownership. We are
enthusiastic that the business we have worked so hard to build will continue
with strong, high quality ownership...We believe this is a good move for
Pinnacle, Buckman's, our employees, customers and snowsports in our region. Your
patronage and support helped us build Pinnacle into a premier snowsport
retailer. For that we are very grateful...Please be assured that Gift Cards,
Gift Certificates, and Season Rental Prepays are not in jeopardy. Gift Cards and
Certificates will be honored at Buckman’s Reading store AND at Pinnacle’s Bear
Creek store. Prepaid Season Rentals will be honored at Buckman’s Reading
store...
