Descente quality and performance

Pros:
Waterproof, Breathable, great pockets, crotch zips, style is excellent
Cons:
Insulation seems like more than last years model and I like very liittle insulation in my pants

Descente is a lesser carried brand in NW and you can't find decent selection in WA, OR, and Idaho. I bought a pair of Comoro's last season and bought 2 more pairs (different colors) this season. This pant is comfortable and has relatively light insulation, but remains comfortable throughout the season. In cold weather, add 3/4 HH base layer and you'll be toasty in the sub-10's. In spring, you won't need baselayer and will remain comfortable til the end of the season. Fabric has a good amount of flex, which is nice when moving about....also really great waterproof and breathability. The 2017/2018 Comoro pants seem to have a little more insulation than last years, but could be that they used different material. Either way, still an awesome pant and great for resort/some off-piste usage.
