Yes
This pack is perfect for anything. I use it mostly for running and biking because i hate trying to find and open water bottles on my bike. It also lets you keep your eyes on the road for safer hydration.

Now that I ski with this compressor, I don't have to worry about getting thirsty! I'd never get on a mountain without one.

Yes
I have used this item for running and hiking. Trails and road. I train for marathons and on my long runs need it. It doesn't bounce on my back and has multiple straps to keep it still. Pockets to hold my nutrition phone and keys as well.
