Patagonia Women's Down Sweater

No matter how chilly it gets, you'll stay warm and toasty in your Patagonia Down Sweater. The same feathers that keep geese and ducks warm while they're flying at high altitudes and swimming in frigid water will go to work for you.

The tough outer shell, made from 100% recycled polyester, resists water and other elements. Whether you're out on the slopes or caught in a snowfall while out shopping, it'll keep you dry, too. With a contoured fit and a longer length, the Patagonia down jacket will be snug without limiting your movements.

Some sweaters get itchy around your chin when you zip them up too high — but with the interior storm flap and zipper garage, go ahead and zip away without worrying about irritation.

Keep your hands even warmer when you slip them into the Patagonia down jacket's handwarmer or chest pockets and tighten up the wrist cuffs. You won't even notice that you forgot your gloves at home!

Patagonia Women's Sweater Jacket Features

What's so exciting about this spectacular and stunning women's down sweater from Patagonia?

  • Dependable materials: The down jacket's durable shell fabric is made of 100% recycled polyester ripstop treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. That means no worrying about moisture dragging you down or stopping you wherever you go.
  • Reclaimed fill: Do you like to buy apparel from companies you can feel good about supporting? The Patagonia women's sweater jacket features 800-fill-power Advanced Global Traceable Down (goose down certified by NSF International, traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure that the birds are not force-fed or live-plucked).
  • Perfect styling: You need a jacket that moves along with you. This jacket's contoured fit has a longer-length hem with narrow horizontal quilt lines on side panels. Its intuitive design ensures that you get the benefit of a second-skin feel.
  • Thoughtful extras: With a center-front Vislon® zipper that has wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage at chin for next-to-skin comfort, you won't need to worry about moisture getting inside your coat.
  • Special compartments and stash-away features: Every coat owner loves to have as many pockets and places to stash valuables, snacks and maybe an extra pair of gloves. Two secure handwarmer pockets have Vislon® zippers and garages. Plus, the internal zippered chest pocket converts to stuffsack with a carabiner clip-in loop.
  • Superior protection: Forget about letting wind or snow go up your sleeves. The comfortable nylon-bound elastic cuffs seal in warmth.
  • Adjustable coverage: The Patagonia women's sweater jacket hem adjusts by pulling cord in handwarmer pockets and releases with cord locks at front hem. That means you can regulate how much air goes in and out for ultimate control.

This is a staple item for a winter wardrobe. Versatile enough to wear under a shell jacket on the slopes, but stylish enough to wear everyday to work or for play.

I'm a big fan of the Patagonia Down Sweater. It is a great insulating layer that packs down nicely for travel. It doesn't take up much room in a bag. This jacket is super versatile. It can be used as an outer layer in the fall/winter. Or as a middle insulating layer on those super frigid days. True to size. Five stars!

Cons: Too warm these days to be able to wear.

As all the other reviews stated it is toasty warm. One of the best features is it's as light as cotton candy. Pack it on a trip and you can use it as a pillow on the plane. Fits true to size. Can't wait until fall really takes hold and I can toss it on.

Winter doesn't stand a chance against this amazing down jacket. Don't let the light weight feel fool you - this jacket packs a war punch courtesy of its down filling. This warm and cozy piece comes in a wide variety of colors to suit every taste, comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defect - that right - LIFETIME, and will be your go to piece alone or under a shell for added protection.

I'm 5'7 and this hits just AT my hips. Patagonia tends to be a hair on the shorter side length wise. Size up if you're looking for more length.
