Well this is my second set, I bought to use on my work jeans, Excellent holding power, I have tested my other set on my ski pants they stayed put even when I took a fall and groomed the hill with my back and backside for a while. Would still recommend, you get what you pay for.

I would recommend this product.
I have used the metal clasp type before, they were junk, I used these Ski-Ups on my Columbia ski pants, they hold great even if you take a spill, the best on the market i've found. I will be buying another set shortly to have for my work pants. I ski all terrains, I have recommended these to friends and I dont do that if it isn't a good product.

got tired of my pants falling down in the backcountry. so far these are a cheap fix that supposedly won't harm materials used in ski pants(i.e. gore tex)
