Pros:
easy to turn, bamboo rods for pop
Cons:
hard to hold edge on ice and hard-pack at high speeds

Yes
The Warden is a great option for your first board. It's friendly to those still learning, and fun and poppy for those who are progressing to a high intermediate level of riding.
