I'm one of those people who instantly gets a headache when there is pressure on my temples. This helmet is one of the few where I don't experience that and still have a snug fit. Add to that the ventilation and goggle integration and there's no need to look any further.

Yes
This helmet fits very well and has the BOA fit system so you can dial in the snugness. Plenty of vents to keep your head from overheating. Pair it with smith goggles and you have the best combo fit there is!

Yes
When looking for a helmet, I was focused on finding one that was low-profile and comfortable. The Variance is super lightweight and the ventilation is on point. I have rode for long days on trips with this and it has served me well. The Boa adjust system in the back of the helmet helps a lot with fit, too. I like the brim of the helmet and I have tried many goggle brands with this, which all fit universally well.

This helmet has taken care of protecting my head for about 6 years now and I am so thankful.... Other than protecting me this helmet fits and looks great. I also combo this helmet with the Smith I/O google and the two integrate perfectly in look and function.
