Fun, but takes getting used to

Pros: Powder, moguls
Cons: Less control

I rode a 159 Forum JP Walker for years. I switched to this one after reading about it. The first day was the first day on the mountain of the year (just a week ago in Steamboat). I was considering renting a 157-159 as I felt like I didn't have as much control. However as the week went on I figured it out some. We had some deep powder days (knee to waist in places) and this board did not disappoint. I also felt it short tail did well on moguls. Small kicker jumps and buttering were ok. However, I still felt I had less control on it as compared to my old 159. Not sure if this is due to its flat camber, or width, or short tail. I think the advice of breaking this board out on powder days or when you get the itch is good advice. I may rotate my 159 back in next time and alternate days to get a better feel for the differences.

Pros: fun on long groomer runs, carving, tree runs

This board is pretty fun for someone who just wants to sit back and cruise or lay into some carves. It feels general slow edge to edge and you can definitely feel its width. I felt this board was a little heavy to ride, so it personally wasn't for me. If you're looking for a throwback volume shift board shape to add to your lineup, this is a nice one for those long groomers and side hits!

Another fun surfy directional board, ride it in the park all mountain and groomers. It surprisingly Carves hard too with the shape makes it surfy when needed

This is a board for someone that wants to cruise down the mountain and just have a good time. Not riding too aggressive but joking around hitting some jibs and just having a ball.
