As the lighter, more nimble cousin to the Duke, the 2014 Baron has earned its stripes as a favorite amongst big mountain, backcountry enthusiasts. New for next season, the Baron EPF features the Extended Power Frame (EPF) previously found only on the Duke. Featuring a 4-13 DIN range, the Baron also gets the Duke's updated Triple Pivot toe and Inter-Pivot heel.

Whos down for untouched snow?

Pros: Durable, easy to use
Cons: Have to take skis off to to latch and unlatch

Would you recommend this product to a friend? Yes

If your looking for a great option to go out on the mountain and not only take the chairlift and ride all the choppy, tracked out slopes but as well take a hike to the untouched parts of the mountain and have it to yourself.
