BUCKMAN S SKI SNOWBOARD SHOPS AWARDED AGAIN AS SIA SNOWSPORTS MID ATLANTIC RETAILER OF THE YEAR
Pottstown, PA – (1-Oct-09) For the second year in a row Buckman’s Ski & Snowboard Shops – leading retailer of top brand names like Burton, K2, Oakley, Spyder, Marmot, Kjus and The North Face - was awarded as the SnowSports Retailer of the Year for the Mid-Atlantic region by Snowsports Industries America (SIA).
According to the SIA website, the award is given to the ski and snowboard specialty shop that contributes to the growth of the snow sports industry, its promotional and marketing techniques and its success in the ski, snowboard, tele, cross-country and/or snowshoe marketplace.
“We were honored to be the recipients of this award for the second year in a row,” said Jeff Buckman, owner and president of Buckman’s Ski Shops. “Last year was a tough one for snow sports retailers across the country and we are thankful we were able to continue to provide our customers with new product combined with great service despite the tough economic times.”
