We dug the "Clips" headphones... first time in a while I bought a new pair of in-ears (mostly just use the crap that comes with the phone) and I was very happy I did! Nice write-up...

I live for my iPod. It’s hooked up to my car stereo, it comes to the gym with me, I listen to it at the office, and most importantly…I can’t snowboard without it. As an avid earbud user, I’ve gotten used to sacrificing sound quality for the convenience of the little buds and gracefully attempting to catch them as they fall out of my ears. Thankfully, those earbud issues can be put to rest now that I purchased The Clip earbuds by Frends.
First of all, I think that The Clip earbuds by Frends are the best sounding earbuds you can find on the market for the money. I’ve tried Sony, Skullcandy, and other lower priced options and I never felt like I was hearing the music as it was intended to sound. I’ve also tried Bose earbuds, and honestly, I could not justify spending that much money for something I was going to use and abuse. The Clip earbuds sit snug in your ears thanks to 3 different tip options, and the sound that comes out of them is fantastic - the closest to a classic headphone’s sound quality I’ve ever heard.
My second favorite thing about Frends’ The Clip earbuds is the custom mic located on the section of cord that comes down from the right headphone. This thing is the epitome of convenience (or laziness…however you see it). One touch of the button plays/pauses your music. Two consecutive taps and you can move on to the next song. Three taps and you can go back a song. Using The Clip earbuds with an iPhone or Blackberry? One click answers the call and one click ends the call. You don’t need to unlock and mess with you iPhone, Blackberry, iPod or other choice technology device any longer.
Another innovative feature of The Clip earbuds is the tangle-free cord. It’s one of those things that makes you think, “how did I live without this?” My headphones get tossed in with my laptop or thrown into my purse, so other headphones I’ve used often ended up in a puzzling knot that rendered them almost useless unless I spent the time to untangle them. The fabric cord (found on all Frends headphones) is designed to alleviate tangles and so far…so good.
The Clip earbuds by Frends function great and they come in a variety of sick color combos. The square outer shape is an interesting alternative to the classic earbud style that’s sure to get noticed. The clip will absolutely be the latest addition to my snowboard necessities this winter.
